Sapieha palace park linden – the oldest Linden in Vilnius, growing in Antakalnis, in Sapieha palace (previous Sapieha hospital) park, not far away from luxurious gate into Antakalnis street. The park of the palace which belonged to the Sapiehas - teh oldest and one of teh most expressive regular geometric baroque parks in Lithuania.
The linden from May 29, 1996 is a botanic object of nature heritage protected by Vilnius City Municipality. There is the information board near the linden.
The linden was handled in 2014: the crown was formatted, dead branches and shoddy sprouts were removed.

  • Height: 28 m
  • Size of trunk:  size 1,3 m, on height: 4,40 m
  • Age: approximately 350 years old (in other sources – approximately 300 years)

At last, I have found some info about this Ghost Building  here (in LT)of course, on pamirsta.lt, here (in LT).
But as I see, this Ghost Building could be a subject for another Antakalnis story.
