Day 89. Vilnius University

On February 2, 2019 we had a tour @Vilnus Univerity ensemble with our teacher, tour a guide and a historian @Vilnius University Dalia Vitkauskaite.

What can I say? You can spend hours and hours @ the University.

#VU

It's like a well to me. The deeper you go the more you want to know.

1) Vilnius University is the oldest and the biggest univesity in Lithuania, established in 1579.

2) It is in the ranking of best 500 universities worldwide.

3) It is on the list of 10 oldest european universities in 10 european countries.

All the info about the university each can find @official website.

I can add nothing more to that what could be found in the net.

Vilnius University is amazing to me and it is a live history to me.  :)

You can book a guided tour and visit the interiors of the university (on workdays only, admission fee - 8 eur).

Dalia took us to Sts Johns' Church to Saint Stanislaw Kostka Chapel which is closed for the public.

To sum up, it is no wonder that the University ensemble could be found in the Brussels Mini-Europe Parkas as a building representing our small Lithuania!
