Once in a few years Basketball madness takes place in Vilnius.

It's KMT fiesta - King Mindaugas Cup final semi finals and final four - each year on the 3rd weekend of February.

All national Cups are taking place in different European countries on that weekend: Spain, Italy, Turkey, Germany.

In Vilnius KMT fiesta houses Avia Solutions Arena.

This year the winner was Žalgiris, the 2nd place Lietkabelis, the 3rd place Rytas and 4th Šiauliai (for the first time in history in KMT final four).

Day 112. BC Rytas Vilnius game in EuroCup @Siemens Arena

All who have visited Vilnius at least once know that a home basketball team of Vilnius is Rytas Vilnius.

Rytas plays not only in our Lithuanian national prime league LKL,  but also in FIBA  EuroCup.

All EuroCup games take place in Siemens Arena.

Yesterday, on December 10,  2019, Rytas had a very important game against Turkish team Tofas Bursa. By winning the game qualified to Eurocup Top16.

The odd fact about me is that I am an old fan of Žalgiris since 1998. But I really really recommend to attend EuroCup games of Rytas and to be with them.

Cause we stand for strong Lithuanian basketball in international competitions! We stand for Lithuanisn basketball!

On January 08, 2020 Rytas plays already in TOP16 with Unics Kazan @Siemens arena in one of 4 groups.
