Day 65. Walking by Neris in Valakampiai. Part III. Park of Benches in Antakalnis.

#WalksinVilnius

This is a continuation of our walk throught Antakalnis towars Valakampiai.

A modern, opened just one year ago, Park of Benches is located in Antakalnis,  near Zalakeviciaus street. Is reachable from Antakalnio ziedas bus stops.
The unique thing of this park is that it has an avenue of benches, the scheme of which is presented below.
The opening of the park was commented by delfi.lt/grynas (in LT), by www.15min.lt (in LT), an interview with Argirdas Kauspedas was presented also on http://www.15min.lt (in LT).

A view on the park

I was planning to have a walk by Neris, towards 1st Valakampiai Beach (in LT), so I left the park. On the left I passed by Etertainment Park in trees.

Entertainment in Trees Park just near the Park of Benches

Path by Neris towards Valakampiai Beaches is easily reachable from Lizdekos street, by turning left into forrest, following some of paths leading left (and old stairs leading left), you will find the main path just by the river towards beaches.

It should be noted that a 4-stars Hotel Park Villa is located just on the beach.

When you reach Valakampiai Bridge, you can easily cross Neris and prolong your walk along the right enbankment of the river or you can stay on the left bank, the proper path on the left bank should be explored.

As soon I explore that, I will persent my findings here.
